Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was evident right from the day she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. She was the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes in her respective events.
